The Kootenai County Fire Department decided it was time to bring a bond vote to the people it serves after 20 years of growth including a population rise of over 118%, with no new fire stations. A bond initiative campaign was created in order to get the people’s vote. Targeted messaging was created and delivered precisely to a very tight audience of voters.
As Kootenai County's population continued to grow to the north, south, east & west, the fire fighters were finding the time to get to those new homes was taking longer than they felt was safe.
